What makes a creator? For me, it is the ability to begin. Whether its a blank Figma file, an unoccupied dance studio, or a white canvas, that’s all it takes. Here is how I create outside of my professional life.
I love working with the unpredictable nature of watercolors and the precision of ink. Drawing for me is a meditative process of letting go, a way to clear and decenter my mind through mark making.

Inktober is an annual drawing challenge during the month of October where artists collectively draw from the same list of prompts mostly in ink. Created by Jake Parker in 2009, this challenge has become a calling for all artists to make their creativity a daily habit and be a part of a larger movement.
